I’m Jamie and I dream big, love hard, and live simply. I’m a Northern-California country girl that spent a few incredible years in the city. My perfect day includes nursing an Americano at dawn, gardening with my husband, snuggling my puppies, and taking a smallish nap or two.
Here’s why I'm a photographer (hint: it’s not for fame and riches).. Every few months, my mom prints our photos and puts them in an album in chronological order. She’s kept this routine for over 40 years. Since I was a little girl, I’d sit down on the living room floor, spread the albums out all around me, and become a spectator of my own history.
I know the look on my mom's face when she was falling in love with my dad. I can see her dancing with my grandpa on her wedding day. I know the shape of her belly as she carried me. I know the dress I wore on my first day of kindergarten and I can look into the eyes of my dog that’s now buried under the oak tree. I've gazed at these photos so many times, they have become a part of me that I may have otherwise forgotten.
This gift, .the gift of my story, .is something I can never thank her enough for and it’s the reason I became a photographer. Everyone deserves to know their story and celebrate their journey.
Let’s document yours.

The journey of a family is this graceful chaos that's downright magical.
You don't know how it works, it just does.
Let's tell the story of your family.

My town is a place where people talk in line at the grocery store and they give directions using “the” stoplight as a reference point (because there’s only one). I was born and raised in the tiny agricultural town of Lakeport, population 5,000 when everyone is home.
This wedding kicked off my fall season with grace, style, and easy love. Chatting with Nick’s sister at the rehearsal, she said, “They are so natural together; they make it look easy.” And after being by their side for their big day, I couldn’t agree more.
Meet Kortnie, Kalen, Gracie, and Weston. They are the foursome that make up the most adorable family on my street. When I meet people that are genuine, authentic, and smile through life’s imperfections, I can’t help but want to absorb them into my heart like the way I’d absorb warm coffee and cinnamon buns.
