I wake up before dawn to water my plants, savor my coffee, and snuggle my puppies. I’m a list-maker and a booty shaker (dance floors- watch out)! I’m a country girl with some city cred but my favorite places are where the air smells of pine or salt.
My husband Jake is my bestie. We met in the third grade and walked arm-in-arm at high school graduation. Our paths diverged and while I was in college he was defending our country overseas. Eight years later I flew to Italy to visit my long lost friend and the new chapter of our story began.
I love our story and it's the reason why I value your story so much. These lives of ours are twisty, unpredictable, and made of the stuff that's bigger than our own dreams. It's truly my honor to have a role in telling your story.

I’ve driven from Pacific to Atlantic TWICE.
I was Miss California in the rodeo queen world. Cue big hair and sequins.
I’m a proud Teach For America alumni and I have fierce beliefs about education equity.
I rode a camel named Dolly through the pyramids of Giza.
Mindy Kaling, Joanna Gaines, and Ree Drummond are my best friends. And by best friends, I mean I watch all their shows and read all their books and try not to be a stalker. I built these garden beds exactly like the Pioneer Woman blog told me to.
I could binge watch The Office and
Parks and Recreation ALL DAY.
The first time I heard God’s voice was when I was hiking Half Dome in Yosemite. Now I feel closest to Him when I’m in the forest.
It's authentic, earthy, and joyful. Years from now, I want you to look back at your photos and remember everything you felt in that moment.
When I photograph a wedding, I see the adventures they’ll have, dinners they’ll burn, and the home they’ll build. When I photograph a high school senior, I see their face as they leave home for the first time and I hear the crack in their voice when they call mom because they're a little homesick. I don’t just photograph people, I document journeys.
My photography style?
As an elementary teacher for almost a decade, I became fluent in toddler, teen, and shy flower girl.
My time in the classroom taught me to roll with the punches and gracefully manage chaos. It turns out that wedding days aren’t all that different from a day in first grade except the audience is older and much better dressed.

Perfect weather, perfect outfits, perfect shmerfect. Perfect is a leprechaun that cleans my house while I sleep.
